Cortancyl side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Oct 25, 2005. Female patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Cortancyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colitis, diarrhoea. Cortancyl dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ARAVA, VASTEN, SELOKEN, MOPRAL, STABLON, COUMADIN, SEGLOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, child 7 years of age, was diagnosed with dermatomyositis and was treated with Cortancyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anuria, aspartate aminotransferase increased, c-reactive protein increased, calculus urinary, chills, cytolytic hepatitis, diarrhoea, dysuria. Cortancyl dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FERROSTRANE, FONCITRIL, FUCIDINE CAP, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM, BACTRIM, DOLIPRANE, TACROLIMUS, AREDIA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
