Competact side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRIA on Dec 16, 2008. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Competact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, hyperkalaemia, metabolic acidosis, oedema, renal failure. Competact dosage: PIOGLITAZONE 30 MG/METFORMIN 1700 MG PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FUROHEXAL, RIVACOR, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient recovered.
