Competact side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Feb 16, 2009. Female patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Competact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, aortic arteriosclerosis, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, blood thyroid stimulating hormone increased, cytolytic hepatitis, decubitus ulcer, disease complication, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, haematoma. Competact dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AVANDAMET, DIAMICRON, IRBESARTAN, LASIX, EUPRESSYL, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Competact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diabetes mellitus inadequate control, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, hypertensive crisis, microalbuminuria. Competact dosage: PIOGLITAZONE 15 MG, PER ORAL, METFORMIN 850 MG. During the same period patient was treated with ACE INHIBITOR NOS, GLIMEPIRIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
