Competact side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRIA on Dec 09, 2008. Male patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Competact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aortic valve sclerosis, arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, cardiac failure, dyspnoea, oedema peripheral, pleural effusion, pulmonary congestion, tachycardia. Competact dosage: 30 MG PIOGLITAZONE / 1700 MG METFORMIN PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CARVEDILOL, CENIPRES, MARCUMAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Competact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, aortic arteriosclerosis, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, blood thyroid stimulating hormone increased, cytolytic hepatitis, decubitus ulcer, disease complication, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, haematoma. Competact dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AVANDAMET, DIAMICRON, IRBESARTAN, LASIX, EUPRESSYL, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
