Compazine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 12, 2008. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme and was treated with Compazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, brain oedema, disease progression, gait disturbance, hypoxia, localised oedema, muscular weakness, nausea . Compazine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, TEMODAR, FUROSEMIDE, THEOPHYLLINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, brain oedema, convulsion, deep vein thrombosis , disease progression, gait disturbance, hypoxia, localised oedema, muscular weakness. Compazine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, TEMODAR, FUROSEMIDE, THEOPHYLLINE, CARBAMAZEPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 60 years of age, weighting 153.0 lb, was diagnosed with oesophageal carcinoma and was treated with Compazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood potassium decreased, cardiac failure, diarrhoea, haemoglobin decreased, hypotension, hypoxia, lung infiltration. Compazine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with IMODIUM, DIOVAN, LOMOTIL, LORAZEPAM, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, XELODA, OXALIPLATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/07/2008.
