Colistin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 05, 2007. Female patient, 64 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with acinetobacter infection, pneumonia What is  pneumonia and was treated with Colistin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lethargy, loss of consciousness, movement disorder What is  movement disorder, respiratory failure. Colistin dosage: 115 MG IV Q 12HR. During the same period patient was treated with APAP, AMIODARONE, ASPIRIN, DOBUTAMINE, INSULIN, CEFAZOLIN, CHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient recovered.
