Colistimethate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 23, 2006. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 168.0 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Colistimethate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypokalaemia, hypomagnesaemia. Colistimethate dosage: 150MG Q12H IV BOLUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
