Colistimethate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 13, 2008. Female patient, 48 years of age, weighting 174.2 lb, was diagnosed with decubitus ulcer and was treated with Colistimethate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ear disorder, hypoaesthesia, hypoaesthesia facial, hypoaesthesia oral, ill-defined disorder, injection site extravasation, injection site swelling, pitting oedema. Colistimethate dosage: 150MG DAILY IV. During the same period patient was treated with ASCORBIC ACID, VICODIN, NEPHROCAPS, SANTYL, CYANCOBALAMIN, CYPROHEPTADINE, DAPTOMYCIN, DIAZEPAM. Patient recovered.
