Colchicine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Sept 28, 2005. Male patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with behcet's syndrome
and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, creatinine renal clearance decreased, kidney fibrosis, nephropathy toxic, proteinuria, renal amyloidosis, rhabdomyolysis. Colchicine dosage: 0.5 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with NEORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.Colchicine Side Effects Report #4790187-3
