Colchicine Side Effects Report #5376296-9
Colchicine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NEW ZEALAND on June 19, 2007. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with gout  and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , agitation, bronchopneumonia, coagulopathy, confusional state, multi-organ failure, neutropenia, overdose. Colchicine dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with gout , gastrooesophageal reflux disease, asthma  and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, laboratory test abnormal, liver function test abnormal, overdose, platelet count decreased, vomiting. Colchicine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, ALBUTEROL, BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, haemodynamic instability, multi-organ failure, overdose. Colchicine dosage: 18 MMG, SINGLE, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
