Colchicine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Aug 27, 2007. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with gout , tachyarrhythmia, sick sinus syndrome, pain  and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: guillain-barre syndrome , muscular weakness, neuromyopathy. Colchicine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VERAPAMIL EXTENDED, VERAPAMIL EXTENDED, FUROSEMIDE, ASPIRIN, AMBROXOL, THEOPHYLLINE, DICLOFENAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, guillain-barre syndrome , hypotonia, neuromyopathy, quadriparesis. Colchicine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VERAPAMIL, FUROSEMIDE, ASPIRIN, AMBROXOL, THEOPHYLLINE, DICLOFENAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Colchicine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NETHERLANDS on Sept 03, 2008. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with gout , pneumonia  and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: neuromyopathy. Colchicine dosage: 0.5 MG, DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN EXTENDED RELEASE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
