Colchicine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 28, 2007. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 118.0 lb, was diagnosed with gout
and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, hypotension, leukopenia, post procedural haemorrhage, thrombocytopenia. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, diarrhoea, hypoglycaemia, hypotension, tremor. Colchicine dosage: 0.6 MG TID. During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL MALEATE, FUROSEMIDE, GLIPIZIDE, NPH INSULIN, REGULAR INSULIN, SPIRONOLACTONE, EZETIMIBE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
