Colchicine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from TURKEY on Nov 16, 2005. Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with gouty arthritis, hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, asthenia, dehydration, gouty arthritis, nausea , pain in extremity, renal failure acute. Colchicine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, dehydration, hypertension, mental status changes, opiates positive, renal failure acute. Colchicine dosage: 0.6MG BID. During the same period patient was treated with PERCOCET. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood uric acid increased, dehydration, diarrhoea, renal failure acute. Colchicine dosage: 0.6 MG TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , accidental overdose, cardiomyopathy , dehydration, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, epistaxis, hypotension, lung injury. Colchicine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DICLOFENAC POTASSIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL MALEATE, FUROSEMIDE, GLIPIZIDE, NPH INSULIN, REGULAR INSULIN, SPIRONOLACTONE, EZETIMIBE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
