Colchicine side effect was reported by a Physician from ISRAEL on Oct 09, 2007. Male patient, 13 years of age, was diagnosed with familial mediterranean fever and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, completed suicide, intentional overdose, shock, ventricular fibrillation. Colchicine dosage: 11 MG, SINGLE, ORAL. Patient died on 01/01/1979.

During the same period patient was treated with ATENOLOL, PHENYTOIN, FENOFIBRATE, TRAZODONE HYDROCHLORIDE, OXYCODONE, GEMFIBROZIL, MIRTAZAPINE, HALOPERIDOL. Patient died.
