Colazal side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 30, 2007. Male patient, 22 years of age, weighting 240.0 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease  and was treated with Colazal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , aphasia , headache , hypocalcaemia, respiratory tract infection, tremor, vomiting. Colazal dosage: THREE 750MG CAPSULES, THREE TIMES DAILY (750 MG, 3 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASACOL, VITAMINS, PROTONIX, MERCAPTOPURINE, REMICADE, ZANTAC, LEXAPRO, VITAMIN D. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 46 years of age, weighting 165.0 lb, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative and was treated with Colazal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , neuropathy. Colazal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with XANAX. Patient recovered.
