Colazal Side Effects Report #5097627-3
Colazal side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 16, 2006. Male patient, 44 years of age, weighting 167.0 lb, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative, scrotal infection, scrotal pain and was treated with Colazal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal tenderness, activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, ascites, azotaemia, blood albumin decreased, dialysis , groin pain. Colazal dosage: 300MG/TID (4 PILLS/TID), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with IMURAN, REMICADE, DOXYCYCLINE, EXTRA STRENGTH TYLENOL, ADVIL, ALEVE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/14/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, anosmia, encephalitis , fluid retention, skin lesion, testicular disorder , weight increased. Colazal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ADDERALL. Patient recovered.
