Codeine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 26, 2005. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with phantom pain and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pruritus, rash , urticaria. Codeine dosage: 60 MG PO BID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Codeine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 24, 2007. Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 146.0 lb, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pruritus. Codeine dosage: IM ONE TIME, 60 MG. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, DEXTROMETHORPHAN, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, LAMIVUDINE, LISINOPRIL, LORAZEPAM, NAPROXEN, NELFINAVIR. Patient recovered.
