Codeine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 26, 2005. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with phantom pain and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pruritus, rash What is  rash, urticaria. Codeine dosage: 60 MG PO BID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, DEXTROMETHORPHAN, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, LAMIVUDINE, LISINOPRIL, LORAZEPAM, NAPROXEN, NELFINAVIR. Patient recovered.
