Codeine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on June 13, 2005. Female patient, 29 years of age, weighting 90.39 lb, was diagnosed with short-bowel syndrome and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, fatigue, hypokalaemia, hypomagnesaemia, short-bowel syndrome, weight decreased. Codeine dosage: 60 MG (EVERY 6 HOURS),PO. During the same period patient was treated with OCTREOTIDE ACETATE, OPIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, delirium, diarrhoea, hallucination, visual, myoclonus, neurotoxicity. Codeine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OLANZAPINE. Patient recovered.
