Female patient, 29 years of age, weighting 90.39 lb, was diagnosed with short-bowel syndrome and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, fatigue, hypokalaemia, hypomagnesaemia, short-bowel syndrome, weight decreased. Codeine dosage: 60 MG (EVERY 6 HOURS),PO. During the same period patient was treated with OCTREOTIDE ACETATE, OPIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with OLANZAPINE. Patient recovered.
