Codeine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Mar 02, 2009. Male patient, 44 years of age, weighting 360.5 lb, was diagnosed with muscle spasms, obesity , cardiac disorder and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , constipation , dyspepsia, fear of eating, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, haemorrhoids, hypertension, nausea , pyrexia. Codeine dosage: 30 MG, QID. During the same period patient was treated with ACOMPLIA, LISINOPRIL, IRBESARTAN, ACETAMINOPHEN, SPIRONOLACTONE, ASPIRIN, ATENOLOL, ATORVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
