Codeine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Sept 20, 2007. Female patient, child 9 years of age, weighting 72.09 lb, was diagnosed with procedural pain and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioedema, rash What is  rash, tongue oedema. Codeine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SYMBICORT. Patient recovered.

Codeine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 16, 2008. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 272.5 lb, was diagnosed with cough, upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Codeine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioedema, oxygen saturation decreased, rash pruritic, swollen tongue, urticaria. Codeine dosage: 10 ML PRN PO. During the same period patient was treated with DOXYCYCLINE. Patient recovered.
