Clopidogrel side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 03, 2006. Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with retinal artery occlusion and was treated with Clopidogrel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haematemesis, haematocrit decreased, melaena, muscular weakness, oesophagitis, upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Clopidogrel dosage: 75 MG PO DAILY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with HYDROXYZINE PAMOATE, SIMVASTATIN, ATENOLOL, FLUOCINONIDE, FELODIPINE, NITROGYLYCERIN, ATROPINE SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
