Clomipramine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 10, 2007. Male patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and was treated with Clomipramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation , respiratory failure. Clomipramine dosage: 125 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLOZAPINE. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with CLOZAPINE. Patient died on 12/23/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colonic atony, constipation , kyphosis, respiratory failure. Clomipramine dosage: 125 MG; DAILY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLOZAPINE, AMISULPRIDE, LITHIUM CARBONATE, MOVICOL, PROCYCLIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE, VENLAFAXINE. Patient died on 12/23/2006.
