Male patient, 17 years of age, weighting 88.18 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Clofarabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacteraemia, blast cell count increased, blast cells present, blood culture positive, blood glucose increased, blood phosphorus decreased, blood pressure decreased, bone marrow failure, caecitis. Clofarabine dosage: 42 MG QD X 5 IV. During the same period patient was treated with ETOPOSIDE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, BACTRIM, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, VALTREX, COLACE, MYLANTA, OXYCONTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
