Female patient, weighting 135.8 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia, b-cell type acute leukaemia and was treated with Clofarabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood bilirubin increased, complications of bone marrow transplant, diarrhoea, pancreatitis, venoocclusive disease. Clofarabine dosage: 20 MG/M2 D 1-3, 8-10 INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with CLOFARABINE GENZYME, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Clofarabine side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on Feb 27, 2008. Female patient, child 9 years of age, was treated with Clofarabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , asthenia, cerebral artery occlusion, cerebrovascular accident, dehydration, diarrhoea, pulmonary oedema, radiation injury, skin hypertrophy. Clofarabine dosage: 52 MG/M2, INTRAVENOUS; 40 MG/M2, QDX5, INTRAVENOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/25/2008.
