Clindamycin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 23, 2005. Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 147.7 lb, was diagnosed with wound infection, wound infection staphylococcal and was treated with Clindamycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, clostridium colitis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, megacolon, pneumonia , septic shock, staphylococcal abscess, wound infection staphylococcal. Clindamycin dosage: 1200 MG (600 MG, 2 IN 1 D), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CEFAZOLIN, CEFOZOPRAN HYDROCHLORIDE, TIENAM, GENTAMICIN SULPHATE, TEICOPLANIN, BETAMETHASONE, CARBAZOCHROME SULFONATE, TRANEXAMIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
