During the same period patient was treated with COLCHICINE, ADALAT, ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE GEL, INSULIN. Patient died on 09/05/2003.

Clarithromycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 22, 2005. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia , gout  and was treated with Clarithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bone marrow failure, gout , nausea , pneumonia aspiration. Clarithromycin dosage: 250 MG BID, PO. During the same period patient was treated with COLCHICINE. Patient died.

Clarithromycin side effect was reported by a Physician from HONG KONG on Jan 24, 2006. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia , gout  and was treated with Clarithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bone marrow failure, confusional state, crepitations, diarrhoea, febrile neutropenia, gout , pneumonia . Clarithromycin dosage: 250 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with COLCHICINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
