Clarith Side Effects Report #5777859-9
Clarith side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 10, 2008. Male patient, child 11 years of age, weighting 68.34 lb, was diagnosed with pyrexia, pharyngolaryngeal pain, prophylaxis, oral intake reduced and was treated with Clarith. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain , blood urine present, c-reactive protein increased, catheter site pain, conjunctival hyperaemia, deep vein thrombosis , diarrhoea, face oedema, kidney enlargement. Clarith dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LICORIS, DICKININ, TRANEXAMIC ACID, CEFCAPENE PIVOXIL HYDROCHLORIDE HYDRATE, ANTIBIOTICS, CEFOTAXIME, HIGH CALORIE FLUID INFUSION. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with helicobacter infection, gastric ulcer and was treated with Clarith. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , diarrhoea, enterocolitis haemorrhagic, melaena. Clarith dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, LANSOPRAZOLE, AZULENE SULFONATE, RANITIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphthous stomatitis, diarrhoea, pharyngeal oedema, rash , swollen tongue. Clarith dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LANSOPRAZOLE, AMOXICILLIN TRIHYDRATE, EPINASTINE HYDROCHLORIDE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM. Patient recovered.
