Clarith Side Effects Report #5902560-8
Clarith side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Sept 26, 2008. Female patient, 85 years of age, weighting 105.8 lb, was diagnosed with bronchitis chronic, supraventricular extrasystoles, ventricular tachycardia, hypertension and was treated with Clarith. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, fall , supraventricular extrasystoles, syncope, ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia. Clarith dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLECAINIDE ACETATE, METILDIGOXIN, AMIODARONE, MEQUITAZINE, THEOPHYLLINE, VALSARTAN, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 70 years of age, weighting 101.4 lb, was diagnosed with atypical mycobacterial infection, thrombosis prophylaxis, heart rate irregular, osteoporosis , insomnia and was treated with Clarith. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, bradycardia, haemorrhagic diathesis, haemorrhagic disorder, ventricular extrasystoles, xanthopsia. Clarith dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN POTASSIUM, WARFARIN POTASSIUM, DIGOXIN, TORSEMIDE, CALCITRIOL, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, TEPRENONE, DIAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
