Citaloxan Side Effects Report #5811046-0
Citaloxan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from PORTUGAL on June 25, 2008. Female patient, 30 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with hodgkin's disease
and was treated with Citaloxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cyanosis, dyspnoea, fibrin d dimer increased, haemoconcentration, hypoxia, leukocytosis, lung infiltration, respiratory failure, vomiting. Citaloxan dosage: 3240 MG TOTAL IV. During the same period patient was treated with CISPLATIN, ETOPOSIDE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE HEMISUCCINATE, GRANISETRON, MANNITOL, SORBITOL, ALLOPURINOL, INSULIN MONOCOMPONENT. and was treated with Citaloxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, cyanosis, dyspnoea, fibrin d dimer increased, haemoconcentration, hypoxia, leukocytosis, lung infiltration, vomiting. Citaloxan dosage: 3240 MG PER_ CYCLE IV. During the same period patient was treated with ETOPOSIDE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, CISPLATIN. Patient died.
