Cisapride Side Effects Report #6073733-1
Cisapride side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 30, 2009. Female patient, weighting 184.3 lb, was diagnosed with impaired gastric emptying, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, hypercholesterolaemia, anxiety , constipation , hypothyroidism and was treated with Cisapride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , abdominal pain upper, anxiety , asthenia, back pain , chest pain , dyspnoea, hypotension, overdose. Cisapride dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VYTORIN, AMBIEN, AMITIZA, NEXIUM, SYNTHROID, REGLAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Cisapride dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEMEROL, VYTORIN, AMBIEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 146.0 lb, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal motility disorder, impaired gastric emptying, prophylaxis, arthritis , oedema, diabetes mellitus, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Cisapride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, arrhythmia , aspiration, atrial fibrillation , blood creatine phosphokinase increased, cardiac failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypotension, myocardial ischaemia. Cisapride dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN E, METHOTREXATE, TRIAMTERENE AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, GLUCOTROL, AVANDIA, MIACALCIN, ASCORBIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/18/2005.
