Ciproxin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SWITZERLAND on Mar 30, 2006. Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Ciproxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cheyne-stokes respiration, depressed level of consciousness, disturbance in attention, dysarthria, insomnia, neurotoxicity. Ciproxin dosage: 200 MG, BID, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with TRIATEC, SORTIS, PLAVIX, SERETIDE MITE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 32 years of age, weighting 187.4 lb, was diagnosed with arthritis bacterial and was treated with Ciproxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal disorder, insomnia, tendon rupture, tendonitis. Ciproxin dosage: 500 MG TWICE DAILY PO. Patient recovered.
