Ciproxan side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 06, 2007. Female patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Ciproxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypoglycaemia, metabolic acidosis, renal impairment. Ciproxan dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 400 MG UNIT DOSE: 200 MG. During the same period patient was treated with LAXATIVES. Patient died.

Female patient, 86 years of age, weighting 99.21 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection, dehydration, fluid replacement, constipation What is  constipation and was treated with Ciproxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, hypoglycaemia, hypotension, metabolic acidosis, multi-organ failure, renal impairment. Ciproxan dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 400 MG UNIT DOSE: 200 MG. During the same period patient was treated with SOLDEM, MAGLAX, PURSENNID. Patient died on 01/27/2007.

Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with post procedural infection, staphylococcal infection What is  staphylococcal infection, arteriosclerosis obliterans and was treated with Ciproxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic function abnormal, renal impairment. Ciproxan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, CEFAMEZIN, PENTAZOCINE LACTATE, PENTAZOCINE LACTATE, PALUX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
