Male patient, 45 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with osteitis and was treated with Ciproflaxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytolytic hepatitis, dermatitis exfoliative, haptoglobin decreased, inflammation, normochromic normocytic anaemia, prothrombin time shortened, pyrexia, renal failure acute, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Ciproflaxacin dosage: 1500 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with TAZOCILLINE, PLAVIX, KARDEGIC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
