Cipralex side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CANADA on Sept 11, 2006. Male patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Cipralex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebrovascular accident, legal problem, loss of consciousness. Cipralex dosage: 10 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with PHENOBARBITAL, ALTACE, FUROSEMIDE, LIPITOR, NOVASEN, ALLOPURINOL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with depression , paranoia and was treated with Cipralex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, cerebral infarction, cerebrovascular accident, confusional state, depression , paranoia, restlessness. Cipralex dosage: 10 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZELDOX, SIMVASTATIN, INSULATARD NPH, ALBYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: akinesia, blood cholesterol increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood triglycerides increased, cerebrovascular accident, coronary artery occlusion, high density lipoprotein decreased, hyperlipidaemia, myocardial infarction. Cipralex dosage: 10 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with CEDUR RETARD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, blood cholesterol increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood triglycerides increased, cardiac disorder, cerebrovascular accident, high density lipoprotein decreased, hyperlipidaemia, myocardial infarction. Cipralex dosage: 10 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with CEDUR RETARD. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
