Cimetidine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on June 15, 2005. Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with abdominal pain , diabetes mellitus and was treated with Cimetidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, agitation, asthenia, cerebrovascular disorder, confusional state, depressed level of consciousness, dizziness , dysarthria. Cimetidine dosage: 400MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ORLISTAT, METFORMIN. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 64 years of age, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with obesity  and was treated with Cimetidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , asthenia, circulatory collapse, depressed level of consciousness, diarrhoea, dizziness , dysarthria, lactic acidosis. Cimetidine dosage: 400MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, XENICAL, AMILORIDE AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
