Cidofovir side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 26, 2006. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 158.3 lb, was diagnosed with cytomegalovirus infection What is  cytomegalovirus infection and was treated with Cidofovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, body temperature increased, dizziness What is  dizziness, gait disturbance, headache What is  headache, mental status changes, speech disorder, urinary incontinence What is  urinary incontinence, visual disturbance. Cidofovir dosage: 225 MG -3MG/KG- ONE TIME INJ. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
