Cidofovir side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 19, 2008. Male patient, 42 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with adenovirus infection and was treated with Cidofovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anuria, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, haemodialysis, renal disorder. Cidofovir dosage: 380MG IV QWEEK. During the same period patient was treated with ACYCLOVIR, CASPOFUNGIN, HYDROCORTISONE, INSULIN, LOPERAMIDE, MEROPENEM, OXYBUTININ, OXYCODONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
