Cidofovir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 29, 2008. Male patient, child 6 years of age, was diagnosed with burkitt's lymphoma and was treated with Cidofovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute graft versus host disease in liver, acute graft versus host disease in skin, adenovirus infection, burkitt's lymphoma recurrent, coma, creutzfeldt-jakob disease What is  creutzfeldt-jakob disease, csf myelin basic protein increased, csf protein increased, demyelination. Cidofovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DOXORUBICIN, CARBOPLATIN, VINCRISTINE, IFOSAMIDE, ETOPOSIDE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, METHOTREXATE, RITUXIMAB. Patient died.
