Chlorpromazine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 12, 2005. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 171.1 lb, was diagnosed with hiccups, pain  and was treated with Chlorpromazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, mental status changes. Chlorpromazine dosage: 25MG IV TID PRN. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE SULPHATE, REGLAN. Patient died on 07/30/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypotension, lethargy, mental status changes. Chlorpromazine dosage: 10MG ONCE PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ammonia increased, balance disorder, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, hepatic function abnormal, mental status changes, somnolence. Chlorpromazine dosage: 25 MG PO QD PRN HICCUP. During the same period patient was treated with COZAAR, CALCUIM CARBONATE, DILTIAZEM, ALDACTONE, TRAZODONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
