Chlorpromazine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 15, 2008. Male patient, 51 years of age, weighting 204.4 lb, was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, insomnia, agitation and was treated with Chlorpromazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: change of bowel habit, decreased appetite, eating disorder , faecaloma, intestinal obstruction, lethargy. Chlorpromazine dosage: 200MG AT NIGHT. During the same period patient was treated with CLOZAPINE, BENZTROPINE MESYLATE, DIPHENHYDRAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, DYAZIDE, HALDOL, ATIVAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
