Chlorpromazine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from HONG KONG on Oct 24, 2005. Male patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Chlorpromazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: heat exhaustion, heat stroke. Chlorpromazine dosage: 650 MG;AT BEDTIME. During the same period patient was treated with BENZHEXOL, ZUCLOPENTHIXOL, DECANOATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood glucose increased, blood pressure decreased, coma, dyskinesia, heart rate increased, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, metabolic acidosis. Chlorpromazine dosage: 650 MG / AT NIGHT /. During the same period patient was treated with ZUCLOPENTHIXOL DECANOATEECTION, GLIBENCLAMIDE, METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE, DIAZEPAM, VALPROATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
