Chlorpromazine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRALIA on Feb 04, 2008. Female patient, 28 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Chlorpromazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bereavement reaction, caesarean section, cogwheel rigidity, completed suicide, convulsion, delusion, hallucination, auditory, loss of employment. Chlorpromazine dosage: 750 MG / PER DAY / ORAL. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, anticholinergic syndrome, cogwheel rigidity, confusional state, dry mouth, dry skin, dyskinesia, fatigue, glossodynia. Chlorpromazine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RISPERIDONE, LITHIUM CARBONATE, BENZATROPINE, VALPROIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
