Chlorpromazine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 10, 2006. Male patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Chlorpromazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, anxiety , blood glucose increased, blood pressure decreased, blood pressure systolic increased, coma, dry skin, dyskinesia, heart rate increased. Chlorpromazine dosage: 650 MG QHS. During the same period patient was treated with TRIHEXYPHENIDYL, ZUCLOPENTHIXOL, METFORMIN, GLYBURIDE, DIAZEPAM, VALPROATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
