After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood culture positive, burkholderia cepacia infection, pneumonia klebsiella, respiratory failure, sputum culture positive, staphylococcal infection . Chlorhexidine dosage: 3000MG DAILY TOPICAL. Patient recovered.
