Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with alcohol withdrawal syndrome and was treated with Chlordiazepoxide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage, fall

Chlordiazepoxide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 18, 2006. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with alcohol detoxification and was treated with Chlordiazepoxide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gait disturbance, vision blurred. Chlordiazepoxide dosage: 50 MG X 3 DAY AND 25 MG X 3 DYS. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX, FOLIC ACID, GABAPENTIN, NPH INSULIN, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, METFORMIN, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
