Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with cataract operation, local anaesthesia, postoperative care and was treated with Chloramphenicol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: conjunctival oedema, exophthalmos, eye movement disorder, eye swelling, parophthalmia, periorbital fat herniation, visual acuity reduced. Chloramphenicol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, BUPIVACAINE, CEFUROXIME, HYALURONIDASE, LIDOCAINE. Patient recovered.
