Chloramphenicol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 14, 2005. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with conjunctivitis and was treated with Chloramphenicol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aplastic anaemia, bronchopneumonia, fungal infection What is  fungal infection, lung consolidation, pathogen resistance, pharyngitis, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary haemorrhage, pulmonary oedema. Chloramphenicol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, TRANEXAMIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
