Chloramphenicol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 25, 2007. Female patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with infection prophylaxis and was treated with Chloramphenicol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: achromotrichia acquired, anterior chamber cell, conjunctivitis allergic, corneal deposits, erythema of eyelid, eye irritation, eyelid oedema, intraocular pressure increased, lacrimation increased. Chloramphenicol dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
