Cephalexin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 08, 2006. Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Cephalexin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, deep vein thrombosis , haematoma, haemoglobin decreased, hypovolaemic shock, international normalised ratio increased, pain , pyrexia. Cephalexin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, METRONIDAZOLE, TRIMETHOPRIM, NIFEDIPINE, ACEBUTOLOL, INDAPAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
