Cephalexin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 25, 2005. Female patient, 32 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection, depression  and was treated with Cephalexin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, chills, nausea , upper respiratory tract infection. Cephalexin dosage: 500 MG; QID. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOXETINE, PARACETAMOL WITH CODEINE PHOSPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
